ANODE REPLACEMENT
Have you checked your tank anodes recently? If not, we can do it! An easy task that is often overlooked, but your tank anodes are your first line of defense against tank corrosion seen in some steel tanks. Many older tanks are not coated properly and this can create premature tank corrosion. Do not wait until you spring a leak, we can check and or replace your anodes. It makes sense to periodically check your tank anodes. They will often need replacement at a five year cycle in our part of the country, depending on the mineral content of your tank water, sooner if the water is especially hard (high mineral content). We recommend that you check each tank anode approximately once per year. The anodes are typically easily accessed from the top of the tank and require minimal tools for inspection.

Especially important is inspection or replacement of the pump anodes. We recommend that the pump anodes be replaced annually and twice a year if your supply water is hard. While these tasks require little effort on your part, ignoring them may lead to significant repair costs later.
